At 11:35pm on Thursday, 5th July, 2012 the world became a poorer place with the passing of Peter A. Cross.

After long and hard-fought battles with cancer, Peter left us with the memory of a wonderful human being who would do anything for you. He was a mentor, a willing colleague, an ever-ready ear and a soft shoulder.

He was an amazing and courageous person who never complained about his problems, battles or pains but was always ready with witticism or criticism that would playfully cut right to the quick. Peter knew how to use words.

His blogs and ‘scribblings’ show the wit and character of this generous soul and his short stories and screenplays show the darkness as well as the hope that imbued his writings.

Those who knew Peter know that he is irreplaceable.
